Congress has been considering a child nutrition bill, but time is running out. Senator Lincoln, who chairs the Senate Agriculture Committee, is working hard to get the bill passed this summer, and to do it, she says she will speak on the floor of the Senate every day until they take action.

Senator Lincoln has every reason to demand action now. The deadline to reauthorize child nutrition programs―September 30th―is fast approaching. If Congress does not pass a child nutrition bill this summer, millions of low-income children will miss out on improved access to the nutritious food they need to learn and grow.
