Hunger Action Month

September is Hunger Action Month, and Feeding America is mobilizing our network of food banks and partners, our donors, our volunteers, our advocates, and all of our allies in every community across the nation to raise our voices against hunger .

We're undertaking a massive nationwide initiative this month to help educate America's communities about the real scope and impact of hunger, and to empower people to help us find a solution to this widespread problem. By visiting the Hunger Action Center, you've taken an important step in getting involved. Hunger advocacy is a critical part of our activities this month, and your participation can help us show our elected officials how important it is for them to take an active role in the fight against hunger.

This month, there will be many opportunities to get involved, and you can choose to participate in any or all of them. As a hunger advocate, you can:

• Register to receive emails about important hunger issues
• Update your profile with information about the hunger issues that are most important to you
• Find your food bank and get information about local Hunger Action Month events
• Spread the word about the importance of hunger advocacy
• Share your story about your experiences with hunger
• Send a letter to Congress about the importance of the fight against hunger
• Take our advocate survey

There are many ways to get involved, and we invite you to join us this month as we raise our voices against hunger. With your help, we can find a solution to America's hunger problems.
